Peter Summers

Peter Summers grew up as a nomad in northern Thailand. He has moved house 54 times in 40 years, a record if only Guiness were interested. Having trained as a theatre director and worked for several years on the London fringe, writing and directing new work, Peter packed his bags once more and began producing and directing documentaries. He has lived and worked in Cambodia, Thailand, Bangladesh and Burma. Peter has also written three screenplays, all funded by Screen WM and this in turn led him to write his first novel, King of the Rain. Undaunted, he continues… somewhere.
